Chapter 2.13 – Tiny Dancer

The light shining in through the window, coupled with Duke’s whining, woke up Cole.  He swung his legs over to the side of the bed and greeted his dog. “Hey Duke. Guess what? This weekend is going to be epic. Laney just might spend the night with us. You like Laney, right boy?” His parents and sister were going out of town and he really hoped Laney could finagle a way to spend the night.

Cole thought about the last three months as he looked lovingly at the pictures of Laney papering his walls. She had a passion for all things she felt were worth doing.  He loved that about her. The way she carried herself with an air of self confidence may have put some people off, but Cole loved it.  She had even inspired him to begin working out, much to his father’s delight. His dad worked out all the time and up until now, Cole never really got into it.

He went to one of her performances. His parents and Ami even went with him. She was awesome and received a standing ovation for her solo performances. He had been so proud that she was with him.  What Laney wanted, she usually got, and he was very glad she wanted him.  He adored her, and followed her around like a puppy dog, eating up the attention she lavished on him.

True to her Facebook post, she had been meeting with him for dance lessons, which were always followed by passionate make out sessions.

It was during the later part of their sessions that she taught him more than just how to two-step. She showed him how to satisfy her, while making sure to take care of his needs as well.  Obviously experienced, she never made him feel self conscious about his inexperience. It was just a different kind of dance lesson. But at the end of each lesson, the one holding back was always him; afraid to push her for more. Fool me once…or so he had heard. But now that they were officially a couple, he felt he was ready for the next step in their relationship.

Cole was on the way to his first class and saw Nicky talking to Mason Ward, one of the guys from his biology class. He was flirting with her and she was smiling and flirting right back. Cole was a little confused by his feelings at seeing her with someone else.

On the one hand, he was relieved she was finally moving on. And on the other, he felt a twinge of jealousy.  Maybe that’s what she was talking about when she told him she was confused about her feelings. He hoped eventually they could be close again and things wouldn’t be awkward between them anymore.  He truly missed her.

Laney walked up and behind him. “Hey you,” she said sweetly, putting her hands on his shoulders and rubbing them, “You aren’t jealous are you?”

He quickly turned to her, a silly grin on his face. “No way…I am just happy she is finally moving on. Besides, how could I be jealous of her when I have you?”

He pulled her close to him and whispered, “Hey, my parents are going out of town this weekend. They are taking Ami with them. One of their friends in San Myshuno is having a birthday party.  Sooo…I have the house to myself.”

Laney’s eyes lit up. “Ohhh…I can tell my folks I’m spending the night with Mia!  I know she will back me up…”  They were interrupted by the shrill sound of the warning bell for the next class. Laney stood on her tiptoes and planted a quick kiss on Cole’s cheek. “Until this weekend….”

Laney got to Cole’s house early to help him set up. Sitting there watching her cutting up vegetables made him warm and happy inside. He could imagine the two of them being like his mom and dad and couldn’t help but smile. Laney was so much fun to be around. She didn’t hold her feelings back at all. She was openly affectionate. She had even charmed his parents.

Laney noticed he had stopped helping and turned around. “You just gonna stand there and admire the view or help me?” she asked with a smirk.

“Sorry, you caught me,” said Cole, giving her an equally smoldering look, “The view is nice by the way.”

She wasn’t soft and curvy like Nicky.  She was thin, almost too thin, except she was muscular from her dance. She had the classic body of a ballerina. His sexy ballerina. He couldn’t wait for the party to end, and it hadn’t even started yet.  It was going to be a long evening. And hopefully, an even longer night with his tiny dancer.

As if reading his thoughts, she gave him a seductive look and said, “Maybe, I’ll show you more of it later.”

The doorbell rang before he could formulate a response.

Noah was the first to arrive toting a grocery bag and his new girlfriend, Azure Midnight. “I brought refreshments!” he said.

“Then by all means, come on in!” said Cole as he bowed and ushered them in.

Azure thought Noah hung the moon, quite different from his relationship with Tahani.  And Noah was eating it up. He wasn’t used to having someone be nice to him. Tahani had literally told him to “fuck off”, complete with her middle finger, when she saw him ogling Azure. It didn’t take Noah long to get her to go out with him.

The doorbell rang again and this time, it was Berto and Mia. “Hey dudes and Duke, my man!” he said, waiving at everyone, including the dog.  Mia ran over to Laney and hugged her. Cole was shocked Berto and Mia were still together. Her sugary sweet voice grated on his nerves, plus the way she always seemed to be in everyone else’s business, bugged him. But Laney liked her, so he figured he needed to learn to tolerate her.

Kolby and Nemo walked in right behind them. Cole was a little jealous of their relationship. He used to be anyway.  They just seem so comfortable with each other, like it’s easy to be together. Sort of like his parents, and really, how it has been with him and Laney.

Noticeably absent was Nicky. Cole hoped, if she started dating Mason, she would be comfortable joining them again.

The drinks were passed out and everyone settled on the couch or floor to watch a movie and sneak in a kiss here and there.

As soon as the door closed, they fell into each other’s arms and began to kiss passionately and urgently. “I didn’t think they would ever leave,” breathed out Laney.

Cole was ready for her.  He grabbed her leg pulling her hard against him so she would know.

Breathless, they broke apart. “Let’s go upstairs,” he said, his voice uncontrollably husky.

“Mmm Uh,” came back an equally husky voice.

Once in Cole’s bedroom, Laney laid down on his tiny bed and he crawled on top of her. “I want you Cole…tonight,” she said, her words barely a whisper.

Cole closed the distance between them and kissed her. His kisses were rough and needy, just like hers.

Then Laney surprised him and pushed him back. She stood up and peeled off her shirt and stepped out of her shorts. Then she took the pins out of her hair, letting it fall loose.  Cole drank her in and let out an involuntary groan.  He wasn’t sure how he was going to wait.

He laid her back on the bed and they began to touch each other intimately.

Finally, when Cole couldn’t wait any longer, he looked into her chocolate eyes, and uttered the only word he could force out. “Laney?” he said on a breath.

“Yes….do it, please,” she whispered, her voice hoarse from need.

He almost died right there. He grabbed the condom and rolled it on. Thank god he had practiced, because his hands were shaking and his heart was hammering out of his chest.

He climbed back on top of her and she eagerly wrapped her legs around him. He could barely breathe. He closed his eyes and buried his head in her shoulder, just feeling and kissing her neck.

When they were finally joined, he was afraid to move.  Laney began to moan and writhe beneath him, making him crazy.

“Don’t…stop…now….I need…” whispered Laney between breaths.

That was all the encouragement he needed because he didn’t want to stop.

They couple ended together and collapsed. After their breathing returned to normal, Cole switched places with her and pulled her close to him on the tiny bed. “That was amazing, you’re amazing,” he whispered into her hair.

“Mmm, you too,” she said, and fell asleep in his arms.

While he laid there in the afterglow of their lovemaking, Nicky fleetingly invaded his thoughts. Just as quickly, he dismissed it. He had someone in his arms that he could love and he hoped would love him back. He thought maybe, what he felt for Laney was already love. With that thought, he closed his eyes and fell asleep, his tiny dancer with the hard body wrapped in his arms.
